Boulder City, NV (KTNV) -- Local women got a chance to get a little dirty Saturday, all for a good cause.
The Dirty Girl Mud Run took place at the Boulder Ranch Quarry on Silver Line Road in Boulder City.
Action News received photos of the event from nurses at Sunrise Hospital's Pediatric ICU.
The women were inspired to take part in the event because of one of their co-workers, fighting a courageous battle against breast cancer.
Proceeds from Saturday's Mud Run will benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
