Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The family of Kenneth Cherry Jr., the rapper shot and killed while driving his car down the Las Vegas Strip, has flown to Las Vegas to meet with investigators.

They held a press conference Saturday afternoon.

The family wants people to know Kenneth was a victim, and a much different man than he portrayed in his music videos.

The 27-year-old's rap name was Kenny Clutch.

Although his music videos show Cherry driving a Maserati in Las Vegas, the family said that was merely an image he personified to further his music career.

They said Cherry was a good father and son who was loved by many, and now that he is gone, those people are hurting.

He leaves behind three children.

Kenneth's father said they plan to donate to the families of the other two people who were killed Thursday, taxi driver Michael Boldon and his passenger Sandra Sutton.
