Vigil held for victims of fatal shooting and car explosion
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Friends, family and community members held a memorial Friday evening at Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo.
That's where a Maserati sped through the intersection and slammed into a taxi.
The driver of the Maserati, Kenny Cherry Jr., died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The taxi driver, Michael Boldon, and his passenger died in the crash, seconds before the taxi burst into flames.
The passenger has been identified as Sandi Sutton from the Seattle area. She worked for the Chamber of Commerce in the Town of Maple Valley, Washington.
Both Boldon and Sutton died from multiple blunt force injuries.
Police in four states are now involved in the search for the shooter.
Investigators have received numerous tips, but have not been able to identify any suspects.
