Sign spinners from around the world compete this weekend in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- You probably see them all the time as you are driving around the Las Vegas valley -- guys (and sometimes girls) spinning signs on street corners hoping to entice you to visit a store, a car dealership, or new home development.
Believe it or not, there is a world sign spinning championship competition and it is being held this weekend in Las Vegas on Fremont Street.
More than 75 people from around the world will participate in the 6th annual World Sign Spinning Championship today and Saturday on the 1st Street Stage at the Fremont Street Experience.
There will be competitors from Croatia, Peru, South Korea, Australia and from Las Vegas.
The event is hosted by AArrrow Inc.
The first round will take place from 2 to 7 p.m. today. Round two will begin at noon Saturday and the final round takes place from 6 to 7 p.m.
The winners will be announced after the final round.
