Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Action News spoke with some of Michael Boldon's family and friends Thursday night.
Boldon was killed Thursday morning after a car slammed into his taxi cab at the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road.
The driver of the car that hit Boldon had just been shot before hitting Boldon's taxi.
Boldon's family says they are still trying to process his sudden death.
Boldon moved to Las Vegas about two years ago from Detroit. Those closest to him say that he loved his job and cherished his family and friends.
Drivers at Desert Cab have started a collection in honor of their friend and say that it is hard for them to accept that he is gone.
