Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- The head of Clark County's Department of Aviation is stepping down.

Director Randall Walker has announced he will retire June 3.

Walker has been head of the organization for 26 years.

During that time, he provided oversight to McCarran International Airport, as well as four other Southern Nevada airports.

Rosemary Vassiliadis has been appointed as the new director.

She's been the department's deputy director since Dec. 1997.
