FBI agent shot during Las Vegas pursuit released from hospital
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The FBI agent who was shot Tuesday, near Charleston and Nellis has been treated and released from the hospital, according to an FBI spokesperson.
The FBI agent had been searching for a suspect when a foot pursuit began around 2:45 p.m., which led to gunfire on the 5400 block of Eastwick Circle. Both the FBI agent and the suspect were struck by bullets.
Injuries to the FBI agent were described as non-life threatening. The suspect's injuries were described as serious.
It's not clear what charges that suspect was wanted on or how the incident escalated to gunfire.
