Nevada among the happiest states, according to tweets
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Nevada is one of the happiest states in the country, according to data collected from Twitter.
The study examined 10 million geotagged tweets from 2011 and ranked them based on positive and negative words used.
According to the results of the study, Hawaii is the happiest state in the country, followed by Maine, Nevada, Utah and Vermont.
Napa, California is the happiest city in the country based on tweets.
Results showed the five saddest states are Louisiana, Mississippi, Maryland, Michigan and Delaware.
