Coroner IDs woman dead in Vegas domestic stabbing
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Authorities have identified a 49-year-old woman who died after being stabbed at a Las Vegas home over the weekend.
Clark County coroner's officials say Sharon Denise Jones was pronounced dead Monday of stab wounds to the chest and abdomen.
Her boyfriend has been arrested in the case.
Police say they were called to a house on Silver Knoll Avenue about 11:30 p.m. Sunday. That's near Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Boulevard.
Family members tell Fox 5 the violent encounter followed a birthday party at Jones' mother's home.
Relatives say Jones crawled out to the patio and was taken to the hospital, but died a few hours later.
