Utah police search for man suspected in assault
ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) -- Utah police are searching for a man accused in the aggravated assault of another man who later died from his injuries.
Police say officers responded to an assault call Saturday near 1000 North and 1340 West in St. George where they found 31-year-old Jeramy Shawn Olsen.
He was flown to University Medical Center in Las Vegas, where he died from significant head injuries.
St. George Police say 31-year-old Mario Lucero assaulted Olsen and fled the scene before officers arrived.
A warrant has been issued for Lucero's arrest.
Police believe he is armed and dangerous. They ask anyone with information to call St. George Police at 435-627-4300.
