Dance camp held to promote ending childhood obesity
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local organization is helping fight childhood obesity.
Tao Cares and the Jump For Joy Foundation teamed up Sunday to put on the Dance Against Obesity Camp J.U.M.P.
Children ages 6 to 17 were invited to participate in dance classes.
While the kids were working on their moves, parents also got something out of the event. A nutrition seminar was held, as well as a demonstration on ways to cook healthy meals for their families.
The entire event was free for participants.
