Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Thousands of locals laced up their running shoes Saturday for the happiest 5K on the planet.
The Color Run returned to downtown Las Vegas.
The Color Run is the largest event series in the nation.
More than 100 events were held coast-to-coast last year, raising money for local charities.
Proceeds from Saturday's event will benefit Three Square Food Bank.
