Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A motorcyclist is dead after a crash near Nellis and Owens early Friday morning.
The crash happened at about 2:45 a.m.
Evidence and witness statements suggest the motorcyclist rear-ended a Toyota cargo van while it was stopped at a red light.
The motorcyclist, a 55-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The area was shut down as detectives investigated the circumstances surrounding the collision.
The motorcyclist has not been identified.
