This event is to benefit David Lowe, who is only 27, and was recently diagnosed with FSGS Renal failure, and is in need of a kidney transplant. While waiting for a transplant, David is on dialysis and is no longer able to work, leaving his wife to work full time and take care of their 10-month old son.
These past couple months have been hard, both financially and emotionally for the Lowe family. 100% of the donations will go to the Lowe family to help them out during this hard time. If you want to attend the event, please see the above flyer for all the details!

Hard to believe another week has flown by, but we welcome the weekend with open arms!
It's Valentine's weekend which means there's a ton of lovely things to see and do across our beautiful Valley. This is a good time to gather the family and get outdoors. If you missed last weekend's softball tournament at UNLV, here's some good news: the women have another series of games going down this weekend at Eller Media Stadium. The women's softball Easton Desert Classic kicked off on Thursday and runs through Sunday.

Now if you've been looking for a way to celebrate Black History Month, check out Springs Preserve this weekend. it's hosting the Black History Month Festival celebrating the contributions of African Americans to our Las Vegas community. The 4th annual event is going down from 10am to 5pm on Saturday. $5 for adults and free for kids under 12 years old. This is a great chance to blend education and a lot of fun. Food, step groups, live music... I encourage you to join the festivities!
And here's a local event fit for the health nuts and foodies in the Valley! The grand opening of Sugar and Spice Farmer's Market is this Saturday at 10 in the morning. No need to chase a food truck, you'll have plenty to choose from, along with food booths and fresh produce. You can catch this farmer's market every Saturday at 2550 Anthem Village Drive in Henderson, all winter long.
