Students hold bake sale to help animals
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Local elementary school students are helping to make Las Vegas a better place to live for animals in need.
On Thursday, second grade students from the Meadows School held a Valentine's Day bake sale.
Proceeds from the sale of brownies, cookies and other baked goods went to Nevada SPCA's Rescue and Rehab program.
This is the ninth year in a row the Meadows School has held the bake sale.
Last year, students help raise more than $7,000.
