104 citations issued, 7 arrests made during NLV safety event
North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- On Feb. 3, North Las Vegas Traffic officers conducted a "Joining Forces" Safety Event throughout North Las Vegas.
Here are the results from the event:
- 3 - Failure to yield to pedestrian violations
- 4 - Seatbelt / Child restraint violations
- 28 - Speeding violations
- 4 - Red light violations
- 11 - Driver's license violations
- 29 - Registration / Insurance violations
- 25 - Other violations
- 16 - Warnings issued
In addition to the 104 citations issued, the following arrests were made:
- 6 - DUI arrests
- 1 - Narcotics-related arrest
This event was planned in conjunction with the statewide campaign known as "Joining Forces" and made possible by a Traffic Safety Grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety, Office of Traffic Safety.
