Grow house raided near Warm Springs and Eastern
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police officers discovered a grow house while conducting a routine traffic stop near Eastern and Warm Springs in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
Police stopped a car on Troubador Drive on Tuesday morning. Officers smelled marijuana in the area and walked up and down the street, eventually discovering a grow house on the 7000 block.
A search warrant was then served at the home. Neighbors said they saw SWAT raid the house, carrying out plants and equipment.
"We're seeing the plants and all the grow equipment that I've seen on TV before. I never thought it would be here," said Linda Heuer, who lives in the neighborhood.
A total of 28 plants were taken from the home. Police said no guns were discovered inside.
No arrests have been made in the bust.
The estimated street value of the drugs was not immediately released.
Metro police have already conducted at least nine indoor grow house raids this year.
