Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A bicyclist was killed in a crash on Charleston Boulevard near Pecos Street on Tuesday afternoon.
Police were called to the 3500 block of East Charleston at about 12:45 p.m.
48-year-old Joseph Galterio from Las Vegas was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said Galterio was crossing Charleston and failed to yield the right of way, from a posted stop sign, by entering the road into the vehicle's path.
The driver was unable to avoid colliding with the bicycle.
Streets were shut down in the area as police investigated the crash.
