A grand tour of the Downtown Grand
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Action News got a sneak peek inside the Downtown Grand Hotel and Casino on Tuesday.
The property formally known as the Lady Luck is well under construction, with an estimated opening date at the end of 2013.
Fifth Street Gaming is completely renovating the old hotel and its 650 rooms. The Downtown Grand will be the anchor property of Downtown3rd, home to such establishments as the Triple George and Mob Bar.
"Our customer is people who like a good gamble, good food and good times," said Chief Business Development Officer of Fifth Street Gaming, Zachary Conine. "They want value, but they're not looking to get the cheapest thing possible. They want value, that's important to them."
Hotel rooms will start at $70 a night. When the property opens, it will employ about 650 people.
