SUV crashes into palm tree, two people transported to hospital
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police were called to a serious crash Sunday morning.
It happened on West Charleston Road, near Rancho Drive around 9 a.m.
For unknown reasons, the 23-year-old driver of an SUV traveled onto a raised median and then struck a palm tree.
The vehicle overturned after impact, and came to a stop on the passenger side.
Two people, the driver and passenger, were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
It's unclear what caused the crash, but officers believe the driver was either impaired or distracted when the crash happened.
