Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Leaders at the Southwest Behavior School near Flamingo and Torrey Pines showed of their school to the board of education.
The principal said they emphasize STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
School officials say they put a particularly strong emphasis on science.
During the tour, a science class of about a dozen students were dissecting pacific squids.
