Federal agents raid Christopher Dorner's Las Vegas home
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The search for accused cop killer Christopher Dorner has led federal agents to the Las Vegas Valley, where Dorner owns a home.
FBI officials spent the entire day in Dorner's neighborhood near Fort Apache and Blue Diamond. Agents combed through items inside Dorner's home and carried many things out in boxes, before boarding up the front door.
Many neighbors were too afraid to talk on camera, but Dorner was also known across the valley at Lock N Load. A gun store he stopped at and often made purchases each time he came into town.
“When this stuff came to light over the last few hours, its disbelief, it’s just unfortunate,” said Lock N Load Manager Tony Melendez. “He was always happy to see the guys here in the shop… you're under the impression that he's visiting to say hi, and that's how it was.”
Melendez said the last time Dorner came into the store he bought lunch for the entire staff.
