Murdered man found after house fire identified
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has identified the man that was found dead in a trunk of a car after a house fire on Tuesday as 49-year-old Daniel Frank Gilberto.
The official cause of death was blunt force trauma.
Police believe that Gilberto was killed after he interrupted a burglary.
Clark County Fire Department responded to a call at his residence at about 2:15 a.m. Feb. 5.
After the fire was extinguished, Gilberto's body was discovered in the trunk of a car inside the house's garage.
At this time, no suspects have been identified.
