New Palms restaurant and sports lounge designed with women in mind
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- There is a new restaurant and lounge coming to the Palms hotel-casino and it is designed to appeal to the ladies of Las Vegas.
Heraea, described as an ultra-chick American restaurant and sports lounge, will celebrate its grand opening on Feb. 17.
The restaurant and lounge was created by The ONE Group. The "original" dining concept will offer "enticing cuisine, energetic music and state-of-the-art sports viewing in a stylish space with a feminine flair."
Heraea will feature classic American food along with an "inventive twist" on game day favorites from Executive Chef Doug Bell.
The restaurant's decor is inspired by the Heraean Games, the first athletic competition for women in ancient Greece. The restaurant features tufted round banquettes in chenille, plush carpet, soft lighting, and a large LED television screen to showcase world-class sporting events.
Sports enthusiasts will also be able to make a wager at a Cantor satellite counter. In addition, each table will provide a tablet for easy sports betting and mobile gaming.
At night, the venue will feature live music, percussionists, beat boxing, electronic DJs and more.
The opening of Heraea is part of the $50 million renovation underway at the Palms. It will be open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
