Manhunt underway for ex-officer suspected in CA cop killing
(KTNV) -- A desperate manhunt is underway right now for a former cop who could be out for bloody revenge against other cops and their children
Three officers were shot just hours ago in the Los Angeles suburb of Corona and a manhunt is taking place in Southern California for the shooter.
Police are stopping cars on some freeways looking for former police officer Christopher Dorner.
One of the officers shot this morning was killed, the other is in critical condition, and the third suffered a graze wound.
Dorner is believed to be armed and considered extremely dangerous and police in California don't know which way he may be headed.
Police say that they found a multi-page manifesto posted on the Internet in which Dorner says he is angry for getting fired and will end the lives of other cops and their children.
In his manifesto, Dorner names police officers, where their spouses work, and where their children go to school.
Police officials also say that Dorner implicated himself in the murder of a police officer's daughter and her fiance on Sunday.
Dorner has a connection to Las Vegas -- he lists it in his manifesto as one of the places that he has lived. Both the Nevada Highway Patrol and Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department have received advisories on the situation.
