Positively Las Vegas
Local students use iPads to collaborate with Carson City students
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Kids across Southern Nevada are using technology to create a new learning experience.
To celebrate National Digital Learning Day, middle school classes at Frank F. Garside Junior High used iPads to collaborate with kids in Carson City on a history lesson.
Educators hope the collaboration shows Nevada lawmakers how vital technology is in a classroom.
Right now, the district operates under some outdated web-based learning rules that limit what students can do day-to-day.
