Woman killed in crash at U.S. 95 and Cheyenne
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A woman is dead after a crash on Monday at U.S. 95 and Cheyenne Avenue.
The crash happened at about 12:50 p.m. on the Cheyenne northbound offramp involving an Oldsmobile sedan and a Dodge Ram pickup.
Nevada Highway Patrol troopers said the woman driving the Oldsmobile disregarded a red traffic signal and entered the intersection, striking the Dodge.
When troopers arrived, they found the driver of the Oldsmobile unconscious. She was taken to Mountain View Hospital where she was pronounced dead early Tuesday.
The woman was identified as 81-year-old Lupe M. Rangel of Las Vegas.
