Man speaks about shooting at alleged bank robber
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The man who shot at an intruder at his home over the weekend spoke to Action News about his experience.
Mark Schwendener lives near Sahara Avenue and Buffalo Drive.
He says that he a feeling that something was not right on Saturday afternoon so he grabbed his gun. Moments later, he came face to face with an armed suspect in his backyard and opened fire.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Departments says that both Schwendener and a police officer shot at 40-year-old Tamas Horvath, a suspected bank robber.
Police say that Horvath is a Hungarian national who is in the United States illegally.
He is now facing a long list of charges.
