Guests evacuated from Excalibur because of possible fire
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Fire Department responded to reports of a strange odor and possible fire early this morning at the Excalibur hotel and casino.
According to people who were evacuated from the hotel, fire alarms were activated shortly before 2 a.m. Guests were evacuated from floors 11 through 28.
It has not been confirmed that there was a fire of any kind. Guests say that the smell was like that of a burning belt on a car.
Guests were allowed back into the hotel at around 4 a.m.
