Record $98.9 million bet on Super Bowl in Nevada
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A record $98.9 million was wagered on this year's Super Bowl in Nevada.
The Gaming Control Board released the figure on Monday.
Last year, about $93.9 million was wagered on the Super Bowl.
The 2013 numbers are the highest since the 2006 Super Bowl, when $94.5 million worth of bets were placed.
Nevada currently has 183 sports books.
