Local students participate in National Job Shadow Day
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Hundreds of local students spent the day learning from the pros for National Job Shadow Day.
More than 300 students from eight local high schools job shadowed at businesses, community and military organizations in Southern Nevada.
Workforce Connections partnered with the Clark County School District and its school-community partnership program to bring workplace experience to students.
More than 100 students also spent the day shadowing non-gaming employees of MGM Resorts.
The students also received a behind-the-scenes tour of Bellagio, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay.
