Man dead after being attacked while barbecuing
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A man is dead after being attacked while barbecuing at a home near downtown Las Vegas on Friday.
Police were called to the 2900 block of East Charleston Boulevard at about 9 p.m. to reports of an attack in a courtyard.
Officers found a man unresponsive on the ground of a complex. He was taken to Sunrise Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
Detectives said the victim was barbecuing in the courtyard with neighbors when he was approached by two men. One of the men punched him in the face before both fled on foot.
The man who punched him is described as a black male in his twenties with long hair and a tattoo on his neck. The other person was described as a black man in his late teens to early twenties.
