Police identify officer involved in shooting of accused bank robber
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has identified the officer involved in the shooting of a suspected bank robber on Feb. 2 as 29-year-old Officer James Larosa.
Larosa has been employed by LVMPD since 2008 and is currently assigned to the patrol division at the Northwest Area Command.
Larosa was placed on routine paid administrative leave pending the outcome of a review of the shooting.
Tamas Horvach is accused of robbing a U.S. Bank at 1 p.m. on Saturday. He was shot during an attempt to escape.
