Pedestrian killed in hit and run on Sahara, driver wanted
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas police are searching for the driver involved in a hit and run.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Sahara Avenue, just east of Tam Drive.
Police said the pedestrian was walking on the north sidewalk of Sahara as the vehicle, described as a small gray sedan, was traveling west on Sahara.
It's believed the pedestrian entered the same travel lane as the vehicle, and either fell or laid down.
The vehicle struck the pedestrian and continued traveling on Sahara without stopping.
Police are trying to track down the driver.

This is the 16th traffic related fatality in Metro's jurisdiction so far this year.
