Family, friends say goodbye to Tanya Angus
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A Las Vegas woman is honored Saturday at a memorial service; people from all over the world were in attendance.
The beautiful ceremony was held at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church in Henderson for a woman beautiful in every sense of the word.
Tanya Angus spent much of her life fighting Acromegaly. A condition where the body continues to grow, due to having too much growth hormone.
Since the first time Action News told you about Tanya, the community and the world has come together to show their support and love. That continued at her memorial service.
"I am so thankful I was able to meet her and thank her for the role that she played in my life. I'm grateful, because not many people are able to thank their heroes and tell them what they mean to them," said U.S. Army Captain Anne Barlieb, who also suffers from the disease.
Tanya's family said they will keep her legacy alive by keeping her website going and helping improve the lives of others dealing with this disease.
