Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The University of Nevada, Las Vegas ranks among the most popular schools in the nation.

That's according to U.S. News & World Report, which ranks UNLV the 12th most popular nationwide university.

The rating is determined by the school's "yield," or rate of students who are accepted who actually enroll at the school.

"A high yield means that students greatly value being admitted to a school," according to U.S. News & World Report.

According to U.S. News & World Report, 60.5 percent of students who are accepted to UNLV enroll at the school.

Coming in at number one on the list was Brigham Young University in Provo, followed by Harvard and Stanford.
