Henderson police to target drunk drivers during Super Bowl weekend
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- Super Bowl XLVII takes place this Sunday and that means that quite a few people will enjoy a few cold ones as they watch the game.
The Henderson Police have announced that they will be on the lookout all weekend for anyone that may have had a few too many to drink and decided to get behind the wheel.
The Henderson Police will be joining forces with officers from neighboring jurisdictions for the crackdown.
Specific areas where police will be patrolling was not announced.
There were three fatal accidents in Nevada last year the weekend of the Super Bowl. One fatal accident took place on Super Bowl Sunday.
One accident was in Lander County and the other two happened in Clark County.
