Fire damages Las Vegas police officer's home
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A fire damaged a Las Vegas police officer's home on Tuesday afternoon.
Firefighters were called to a home on Fontayne Avenue, near South Bermuda Road and East Serene Avenue, at about 6:45 p.m.
When they arrived, they found smoke coming from the roof. Firefighters entered the home to find heavy smoke inside.
The fire was confined to the area surrounding a dryer.
No injuries were reported.
