Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Darci New shows off the reptiles at her pet store. She's thankful that every snake, lizard and gecko is still there.

"It could have been a lot worse," New said. "We have a lot of our own personal pets here, so we're thankful that nothing was taken."

New's store, Reptiles-N-Reefs in Henderson is the latest in a string of animal thefts on Sunday night.

New said the thieves used a boulder to smash her front door. It's the same way the two men -- seen in surveillance video -- broke into the other stores called Acrylic Tank Manufacturing and Prince & Princess. At those stores, the thieves walked out with four birds and four puppies.

New thinks the sound of her store alarm scared them off before they could steal any expensive pets. She doesn't have surveillance video, but watching the video from Prince & Princess, she said one of the men look familiar.

"He's been in the store before," New said. "I would say in the last week sometime."

Henderson police said the break-in at New's store could be linked to the other cases.
