Man killed in garage fire identified
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the man killed in a garage fire on Monday.
He was 76-year-old John Wilson.
Firefighters were called to the home on Abbeyville Drive, near Paradise Road and East Warm Springs Road, just before 12:30 p.m.
When they arrived, they found flames contained to the garage.
Wilson and a woman were taken to a nearby hospital, where Wilson was pronounced dead.
The extent of the woman's injuries were not immediately clear.
Firefighters estimated the cost of the damage at about $40,000.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
