Local tech community mourns the loss of well-known entrepreneur
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The local tech community is coming together to mourn the loss of a well known entrepreneur, Jody Sherman.
Sherman died earlier this week. He was 47.
Sherman was active in the tech industry in both northern and southern California for several years before relocating his company, Ecomom, to Las Vegas.
The news of his death was released through a Facebook post Monday evening by his wife.
Many of those involved in the local tech community knew Sherman, and were greatly saddened by the news. They took to Twitter to share memories of Sherman and his legacy.
The circumstances surrounding Sherman's death were not immediately clear.
What was clear, though, was Jody Sherman made a positive impact on those also forging a path in technological innovation.
