Coroner releases ID's of 3 people who died in Las Vegas on Monday
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County coroner's office has released the identifications of three people that died in Las Vegas on Monday.
Sharon Decosta, age 58, died Monday morning in a fire at an apartment near West Desert Inn Road and South Durango Drive. The fire was reported at about 2:30 a.m. The cause of the fire has not been released.
John Wilson, age 76, died after a fire in a garage at a house in the 7000 block of Abbeyville Drive, near Warm Springs and Paradise roads, early Monday afternoon. Another occupant of the house escaped. Wilson was transported to St. Rose Sienna, where he was pronounced dead.
Julia Schultz, age 23, died Monday afternoon after her car collided with a bus. According to witness statements and evidence at the scene, Schultz's 2004 Ford was traveling eastbound in the right travel lane of Charleston Boulevard near Rainbow Boulevard when it rear-ended a nearly full city bus.
Schultz was transported with critical injuries to University Medical Center and was later pronounced dead. Schultz was from Las Vegas.
The exact cause of death has not been officially released for any of the deceased.
