Vehicle hits pole and tree, leaves one in critical condition
LAS VEGAS, NV (KTNV) - One person is in critical condition after a vehicle hit a pole and then a tree on Broadbent Blvd.
It happened just before 4p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) said that a mother and daughter were arguing when they lost control of the car. The driver, 50, hit a light pole and then a tree, leaving her 70-year old mother in critical condition.
The driver was originally transported to Sunrise Hospital, and later taken into custody for felony reckless driving and felony DUI charges.
The 70-year old woman was taken to UMC Trauma by helicopter and remains in critical condition.
