One injured in apartment fire near Boulder Highway
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One person was injured after being trapped in an apartment that was on fire near Boulder Highway.
It happened just before 6:30 p.m. Sunday night.
The Clark County Fire Department responded to multiple calls of a fire at the Sportsman's Royal Manor, a 3-story apartment complex.
When responding crews arrived and received reports of someone trapped inside. Firefighters made an aggressive entry and found an elderly female occupant who was concious and breathing but could not get out without assistance.
The occupant was taken to Sunrise Hospital in stable condition.
CCFD said the fire was mostly out from the sprinklers by the time they arrived. No others were injured, and the fire did not cause others to evacuate the complex.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and initial damage estimates are at $15,000.
