One person shot in parking lot of Henderson shopping mall
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- Henderson police were called to a shooting in a mall parking lot Saturday morning.
It happened around 9:45 a.m. at Galleria Mall on Sunset Road, near the main entrance.
Police said a 23-year-old Las Vegas man was shot in the parking lot, after getting into a verbal confrontation with another man.
The confrontation happened inside the mall. Police said the 23-year-old tried to leave, but the suspect followed and then fired several shots, striking the man in the arm.
The victim was transported to Sunrise Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and was later released.
There were no other injuries in the shooting.
The suspect fled the parking lot and has not been located. However, detectives are following up on various leads.
According to police, the victim was not cooperative with detectives.
The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s, last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Galleria Mall was not locked down and there were no closures in the area, due to the shooting. The mall said they are open as usual.
