Assemblyman Brooks involved in family disturbance, then hospitalized
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Assemblyman Steven Brooks was involved in a family disturbance on Friday, prompting Las Vegas Metro Police Officers to respond.
Officers were called to Assemblyman Brooks' grandmother's home when legislative police officers providing protection said he became involved in a domestic disturbance and was acting bizarre.
Police responded to the home on the 8400 block of Westcliff Drive in the northwest part of the Valley.
Upon arrival, they decided not to arrest Brooks. They did, however, have him hospitalized to undergo a medical examination for erratic behavior.
