Details released on President Obama's visit to Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Details on President Barack Obama's visit to Las Vegas next week have been released.
President Obama will speak at Del Sol High School at 11:55 a.m. on Tuesday. His speech will be carried live on Action News Channel 13.
The president plans to address the nation's immigration system and how it can be improved to help grow the middle class.
The event is not open to the public.
White House officials said the president will arrive at McCarran International Airport shortly before his speech, and depart shortly after.
Those who live near the school or near the travel route from McCarran to Del Sol can expect the visit to effect traffic on the roadways.
Roads near the school include Surrey Street, Russell Road, McLeod Drive and Patrick Lane.
