City adding sidewalk ramps to two neighborhoods
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The City of Las Vegas is adding several sidewalk ramps to two local neighborhoods to increase safety.
The sidewalk ramps will provide compliance with federal ADA requirements.
City officials say the area of Decatur, Meadows Lane, Valley View and Charleston along with the area of Marion, Charleston, Stewart and the Las Vegas Wash will have about 150 sidewalk ramps constructed.
Existing sidewalk ramps will be upgraded and crews will work to clean up pedestrian areas.
City officials say the goal of the project is to improve the walkability and quality of life for Las Vegas residents.
