Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- If you're into fast cars and want to help a good cause at the same time, an upcoming event may be just your style.

The Las Vegas Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities is gearing up for its Laps for Charity event.

It's happening at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway this Sunday, Jan. 27.

NASCAR fans and auto enthusiasts will have the unique opportunity to drive their personal car around the speedway at speeds of up to 75 miles per hour.

"This is a great opportunity for people that are NASCAR fans or people who just like to drive fast, to actually be on the same track that famous drivers have been on. And all the money raised supports speedway built children's charities," said Aulette Anderson, director of Speedway Children's Charities.

Laps for Charity is open to all licensed drivers, 18 years of age and older.

The entry fee is $30 per vehicle for three laps, and you can buy more laps with another donation.
