Las Vegas Fire & Rescue chief announces retirement
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas Fire & Rescue Chief Mike Myers announced he will be retiring.
According to the city, Myers has been with the department for 27 years.
Myers said he will be following his wife to Chicago where she's taking on a new job.
Chief Myers' last day will be Feb. 7.
No word on who will be filling in for him until a new fire chief is named.
